Story

A young man Murali lives in a rural village in Kerala, one day Murali got struck by a bolt of lightning and gains superhuman powers. He designs a Superman costume with his own idea and takes the name of Minnal Murali and starts doing good things.
But as a plot twist the same bolt of lightning attacks another man in the same village who is naive and inferior about his own capabilities. What if he misuses the power he got from the lightning strike? The rest revolves around the lead’s tackling methods.
Even though it is a commercial entertainer, the film registered a strong statement about social inequality in a non-preachy way. Minnal Murali is a must-watch film with compelling characters and themes.
