Vandana Das is a Doctor from Kerala. She was killed by a criminal named Sandeep (42 years, former teacher), who was brought to the hospital for a medical examination by the police. The incident happened in the early morning of May 10, 2023. Dr Vandana serves as a duty doctor in Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital, Kollam district. She got stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest by Sandeep for no reason, and later, she died at a private hospital. The incident made everyone left shocked, and somebody wrote that it was a pure case of negligence by the police officers on duty. Meanwhile, the police officers also got injured in the incident.
