Guru Somasundaram is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Tamil and Malayalam films. He made his debut in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Aaranya Kaandam (2011), and he received critical acclaim for his role. He then appeared in the film Pandiya Naadu, Jigarthanda, and the political satire film Joker. He did a prominent role in Mohanlal’s Barroz: Guardian of Treasures movie.

- He joined the prominent Tamil theatre group in Koothu-P-Pattarai, where he enacted plays from 2002 to 2011.
