Vijay is an Indian actor and playback singer who predominantly works in the Tamil cinema Industry. He is commonly referred to as Ilaya Thalapathy or Thalapathy. Vijay has acted in a few of his father’s movies as a child artist. In 1992, he made his lead debut in the movie Naalaiya Theerpu. His first successful movie as a lead is Poove Unakaka. He is one of the most popular actors in the Tamil cinema industry. He did a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan movie and his Leo movie received huge expectations among the audience.

• He made his Instagram debut on April 2, 2023, by sharing a picture of himself with the quote “Hello Nanbas and Nanbis”. Within 20 hours he received millions of followers on Instagram. His Instagram account has more than 4.1M followers (as of March 2023).
