Thankam is the latest family drama starring Biju Menon in the lead role. It is directed by Saheed Arafath of Theeram fame. While Aparna Balamurali did the female lead. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Girish Kulkarni, and Vineeth Thattil play crucial roles. Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran produced this film under the banner of Bhavana Studio. Bijibal scored the soundtrack and background music. Thankam movie is slated to hit theaters on January 26, 2023.

The story and screenplay were done by Syam Pushkaran. Gautham Sankar handled the camera while the editing is done by Kiran Das. Based on the trailer, the story revolves around a middle-class man who juggles around from bank to bank for a gold loan. The events of his mid-life crisis might be the crux of the film.
