Anjali Singh is a middle-class woman who works several jobs to support her family financially. Unfortunately, she met with an accident and died on January 1, 2023. Based on the sources, her father passed away nine years ago and her mother had kidney issues. To support her mother and five siblings financially she dropped out of school at SSLC. Anjali worked in a saloon and as an usher for special events and weddings.
NEWS: After work, Anjali drove back home in the early hours of New Year. Her scooter was hit by Maruti Suzuki Baleno which had five male occupants. According to police Anjali’s body was stuck under the car and she was dragged more than 13 km.

Facts
- Delhi Police said that according to the post-mortem the (COD) case of death is said to be a shock and hemorrhage which resulted in antemortem injury to the head, spine, left femur, and both lower limbs. It is also said that all injuries are produced by blunt-force trauma
- The post-mortem was conducted on Monday (02/01/2023) at Maulana Azad Medical College by its Medical Board.
- While leaving work Anjali was accompanied by her friend and colleague Nidhi who also sustained an injury from the accident. Nidhi became a witness and her statement has been recorded under 164 CrPC, Sagar Preet Hooda, special commissioner of Police (Law and Order division).
