Kadaisi Vivasayi is the latest Tamil movie written, directed and co-produced by M. Manikandan of Kaaka Muttai fame. Based on farming, the movie features Nallandi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. Santhosh Narayanan composes the music for the film. The story revolves around the life of a self-sufficient old farmer and his village. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on February 11, 2022.
According to sources, the streaming rights of the film were bagged by Sony Liv.
Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Ramaiah, who is called the madman of the village. Filmmaker Manikandan was also helmed Aandavan Kattalai film in the year 2016.
